Hamilton Radio Control Car Club was established in 1989 and has grown to become one of the largest clubs in the country, catering for all types of on-road and off-road vehicles in the huge halls of the Claudlands Showgrounds in Hamilton East.

Track surfaces can vary from concrete to hotmix depending on hall availability. Track construction is generally made from heavy duty plastic pipe and corner markers. AMB lapcounting is provided.

The Hamilton club also hosts the popular Indoor Drivers Series each year, ensuring racers can keep up their skills over the winter period.

Due to the massive growth in 1/8th Racing, Hamilton Radio Control Car Club (HRCCC) has its own purposed built track to accommodate for buggy's and trucks alike. The track was first constructed at end of 2003 and the first official event to be held at the track was the New Zealand 2004 Nationals Held in November.

The gates to the Claudlands Showgrounds come up on the left. Enter and turn right, following the road around the building to where racing is usually held.

From the South: Follow State Highway 1 from Cambridge, and turn right into Highway 6 (Grey Street). Continue along this road, through a roundabout, then one set of lights and over the railway lines. At the next set of lights, turn right onto Brooklyn Road. The gates to the Claudlands Showground's come up on the left. Enter and turn right, following the road around the building to where racing is usually held.
