Just outside of Christchurch the Harewood Radio Control Car Club has both an on and an off road circuit.

The onroad circuit is regarded as one of the trickier tracks in the country, with several undulating bumps plus a grass infield, making it a true challenge for the R/C racer.

The clay offroad circuit involves a challenging mix of tight and sweeping turns, with a massive tabletop jump and a double section both adding a decent bit of air time to each lap.

Since they boast both onroad and offroad tracks they cater for virtually all RC classes raced.

From the North: Drive along State Highway 1 from Kaiapoi, and continue to follow SH1 to the right when Highway 74 splits off to the left. Continue on SH1 until you reach the roundabout that intersects with Sawyers Arms Road. Turn Right. The track is situated in a grove behind some trees on the right, just continue driving down Sawyers Arms Road, and you can't miss it. If you can see the Airport coming up on your right, you've missed turning off at the Sawyers Arms round about.

From the South: Drive North along State Highway 1 through the roundabout at the turn off for Christchurch International Airport (Russley Golf Course is on your right). Continue driving past several roads till you get to a roundabout that intersects with Sawyers Arms Road (there is a holiday park on the far left corner). Turn left. The track is situated in a grove behind some trees on the right, just continue driving down Sawyers Arms Road, and you can't miss it.
