15:00 Venue pit areas open to competitors. Confirm your            registration on arrival.
Track available after final inspection.
15:00 Open practice Offroad 1 hour / Onroad 1 hour.
21:00 Track closed.
21:30 Venue closed.

 07:00 Venue Open. Offroad practice.
 08:00 Onroad practice.
 09:00 Track Closed.
 09:10 Drivers Briefing. Group photo.
 09:30 Qualifying begins. 3 rounds.
 12:30 Lunch Break.
 13:00 Qualifying resumes. Short break to sort finals.

Finals begin. 3 rounds.
 19:00 Estimated completion of racing. Meal break. Group             effort track pack up.
 19:45 Presentation.
 21:00 Venue closed.

Meeting organisers reserve the right to run the first round of qualifing on Friday night commencing at 8:00pm if Saturdays racing timetable exceeds 7.5 hours. Notification will be given on this page in the week leading up to the event.


Event Information

Scrutineering
It is the competitors responsibility to ensure their car complies with the class rules for this event.

Frequencies
Frequency clashes will be sorted at the time of entry. Please indicate on your entry if you will not be running a 2.4Ghz radio.

Concours
Concours will be held after drivers briefing on Saturday morning.

Marshalling
Every competitor must marshal the race immediately following their own, unless physically disabled or scheduled in back to back races. In these circumstances, the competitor must appoint a substitute marshal and advise the Race Director.

Lap Counting
The event will be run using computerised lap counting via LiveTime software and AMBrc4 system.
Decoder uses the latest firmware - older tranponders DO NOT WORK.
Invercargill RC Racers have 10 club transponders that can be assigned if required.
Indicate on your entry if you require a club assigned transponder.(You may need to share)

All race durations 5 minutes.

Qualifying
Three heats. Grid start from assigned positions. Single fastest round determines your finals starting position. 
Meeting organisers reserve the right to run the first round of qualifing on Friday night commencing at 8:00pm if Saturdays racing timetable exceeds 7.5 hours. Notification will be given on this page in the week leading up to the event.

Finals
Three rounds of finals. IFMAR points system used to calculate the final results.

Stock Touring (Under 17) - 21.5 Blinky or Silver Can
Tamiya TT02 - Strickly NZ Club Spec
Stock Touring - 21.5 Blinky or Silver Can
Super Stock Touring - 13.5 Blinky
Mini - Stock
4WD Buggy - 8.5 Blinky
2WD Buggy - 10.5 Blinky
Short Course - 10.5 Blinky

(Stock - any 21.5 brushless or 540 silver can)

Tyres
Offroad classes are open rubber tyres.
No mini pins allowed in onroad classes.
Rubber radials allowed in Mini and TT02
All Touring Car classes to use foam tyres. (TT02 optional)

General Information
The Southland Society of Model Engineers are NZRCA affiliated.

The event will be run under the NZRCA code of conduct current at the time of the event.
Please respect the facilities and other competitors. Any behaviour considered unacceptable by the event organisers may result in the offender being excluded from the event. The safety of everyone is paramount.

Power
There is power available for general use during the meeting.
Water
The venue has comprehensive kitchen and ablution areas. WE clean them before we exit.
Refreshments
The club will provide tea, coffee, savouries and drink, please bring a plate for a shared lunch on Saturday.
