Event Information

The "24" Edition of the Tony Stephens Memorial Club Classic. Turns it up to 11 again this year with our unique street-style track. Which encourages traditional touring car style racing with curbs and barriers to reward the brave!
This year's event is shaping up to be a goodie. We are focusing on TCR Touring for this year's event. With the overall Tony Stephens Champion being awarded in this class, with a catch!
Not only will TQ and finals factor into this class for the final result but also, we are going to go back in time approximately 30 years to the days of the Super Touring Era, where we want to encourage paint schemes or even body shells run during this glorious era of full-size motorsport reflected in our 10th scale FWD touring cars. You can run period-correct body shells, or you may wish to give a modern twist on the liveries of the day on a modern FWD touring car shell. (If you have a period correct shell it must run a minimum of a single qualifier to be eligible)
We are also continuing this theme into Super GT where we want to see a Ford V GM V Porsche V Ferrari. Body shells from any era are eligible as long as they are a GT-type shell. We also encourage paint schemes across the generations. Whether it is a current Ford V GM supercar paint job or old school Gulf Porsche paint job.
For our Junior Racers (16yrs and below as at 1st Jan 2024) you will have 3 x4 minute heats across Saturday.

Each Qualifier will be reseeded based on the previous rounds finishing Laps and Time. Round 1 is Random.
** TCR Touring's top 10 will have a Top 10 Shoot Out, each car will have 3 Flying Laps with the average of the three determining the final grid positions for the triple A mains.
We aim to give a minimum of 4-minute qualifiers with 3 minutes between heats.
All qualifiers will be open loop, this is where cars start circulating once race control is happy all marshalls are in place. A three-minute counter will start. And drivers should spread themselves out evenly around the track while circulating. At the 1-minute mark, Pitlane will close and any latecomers to the track will start from the lane on the race director's instructions.
Between 1 minute and Zero, the qualifier will randomly start with an audible tone. Each driver's time starts when they cross the line for the first time after the tone.

Finals

All Classes will have Triple A Mains
Lower Mains will be a minimum of two mains - this is entry number dependent.
Mains will be 5 minutes plus the last lap in duration.
Best 2 of three to count using IFMAR best finishing combined results.
A tie break is the best single finishing position a 1 - 3 Beats 2-2 if there is still a tie then laps/time from the best finishing position will determine the result.
