Classes Offered
Juniors
Under 15 and can run any vehicle, race controller has discretion to limit maximum speed for safety or balance reasons.
4WD GT Touring
Rules are the same as previous years and are available on the Facebook page or on request.
Tamiya Trucks
Kits must be built as per instructions, Tamiya 27t Torque tuned motor, Kit gear ratio only, ESC kit supplied or HW 1060, Servo - open,
Battery - open, Wheels & tires - kit supplied, Body - any Tamiya Super Truck body, Servo horn - open, 2 degree toe rear hubs maybe used, Body and wheel strengthening parts maybe used.
Tamiya M-Chassis
NZRCA national rules, note due to low numbers this may be combined with Super Trucks or F1 for racing, important if entering in both classes.
Stock Touring
NZRCA national rules. If you don’t own the national legal stock motor you can still race but will be excluded from points.
FWD Touring
NZRCA national rules, HW 17.5t Justock Motor, ESC - open
Formula 1

Tamiya Group C - Box Stock
Tamiya Group C car built to out of box spec. Servo: Open, ESC: Open, Motor: Tamiya Sport Tuned, Tires: Open.
Body is any of the Tamiya produced Group C body shells

Practice
Open Practice is from 09:00 - 10:00
Qualifying
Qualifying will be 1 x 5 min rounds. Ranked on best 3 consective laps
Finals
Finals will be 3 x 5 min rounds per class.

Prize Giving
Prize giving will be combined with the Club's main prize giving event.
Points for series/championship work as follows:
Top Qualifier - 2 points
First Place - 100 points
Second Place - 97 points
Third Place - 96 points (and so on reducing by 1 point per place drop)
Tie breaker - Total of best finishing positions
Dropped Rounds:If 1-6 rounds are run, your worst single round will be dropped.If 6+ rounds are run, your worst two rounds will be dropped
Marshalling
You must marshall the race after yours or find someone to marshall for you. The first race of the day will be marshalled by the drivers from the last race of the round. A driver may arrange a competent substitute and is to notify the Race Director of this arrangement.
Pits
Limited power and tables are available. Toilets are provided.
Cancellation
Please check Facebook in case of cancellation.
Other info
A TT02 club car is available free of charge upon request. This can be used in 4WD GT or juniors classes. Please contact the Race Director prior to the event to check availability.
