7:30 am - Drivers Briefing
8:00 am - Practice/ Seeding to begin
2 x 4 minute Practice Rounds, then
2 x 4 minute Seeding Rounds.
Seeding will consist of 2 x 4 minute rounds which will dictate your starting position for the first round of Qualifying on Saturday morning.
Friday night
A social dinner function will be held on Friday evening. Details to follow.
No equipment of value should be left inside the venue overnight.
No Lipo or other battery types to be left inside the venue overnight. Any batteries found inside the venue at night will be confiscated by the Race Director, to be returned after the conclusion of the event.
Saturday
QUALIFYING DAY - THERE WILL BE NO PRACTICE ON SATURDAY

7:30 am - Drivers Briefing
8:00 am - Qualifying to begin
Starting positions for the first of 4 x 5 minute Qualifying rounds will have been determined from Seeding rounds on Friday.
Your finishing position in each Qualifying round will dictate your starting position for the next Qualifying round.
Saturday night
No equipment of value should be left inside the venue overnight.
No Lipo or other battery types to be left inside the venue overnight. Any batteries found inside the venue at night will be confiscated by the Race Director, to be returned after the conclusion of the event.
Sunday
FINALS DAY - THERE WILL BE NO PRACTICE ON SUNDAY
7:00 am - Doors open - Sunday 16 August
7:30 am - Driver briefing
8:00 am - Finals begin
3 x 5 min Finals for all NZ National Title classes, plus
3 x 5 min Finals for "Exhibition" 2wd/4wd Vintage Pre-95 Buggy, G27

1 x 5 min Final for Junior 2wd Stock 17.5 Buggy
Junior-aged competitors, Under 16 years of age, are asked to nominate their entry for the Junior Final at Driver Briefing on Sunday morning.
Track pack-down to commence immediately following completion of Finals.
Event prize giving will be held directly after track has been packed down.
The timetable is approximate only, and subject to change, at the discretion of Race Control.

First Class entry: $60.00
Additional Class entries: $40.00
Deadline for Payment of Entry Fees
Payment of entry fee is to be received by HRCCC no later than Friday 3rd July to confirm your entry position.
Entry positions not paid by Saturday 4th July will be offered to any/ all entrants on the 'Wait List' for each class on a first-in, first-served basis.
Refund of Entry Fees
Due to the financial commitments of putting this event on for competitors, there will be no refunds provided by HRCCC after payment has been received.
If an entrant is unable to partake in the event, it will be their own responsibility to on-sell that entry position to a suitably NZRCA-licenced competitor to fill that space, or forfeit payment as a donation to the event.

Entry Details
Entries will be closed at 200 cars, across the 7 classes.
Additional entry positions will be offered by the Organising Committee to fill any remaining positions in class heats.
Additional registrations will be accepted, and notified if earlier entrants do not pay entry fees by the closing date.
Additional Registrations - Wait List
Registrations will continue to be accepted over and above the capped numbers for each class. Those entries will be put on the 'Wait List' for each class.
Any class entry positions with unpaid entry fees as at Saturday 4th July will be offered to entrants on the 'Wait List' on a first-in, first-service basis.

Control Tyres
Tyres for New Zealand National Title Classes shall be as per Rule G18.2 Spec Tyres of NZRCA General Rules 2026.
No Spec Tyre or Insert may be modified in any way.
Spec Tyres are to be fitted as purchased in original condition from manufacturer. No trimming or chamfering shall be permitted. Holes may not be punched in any Spec Tyres in any Class for this event.

2wd/4wd Vintage Pre-95 Buggy, G27 Class
Tyres shall be as per Vintage EP Off-Road Rules 2026 (i.e. free from restriction by Rule G18.2).
Organisers reserve the right to mark tyres and/or remove from rims.
If a tyre(s) or insert(s) having been removed and marked by organisers at any time during the event is used in any subsequent qualifier/ race session(s) without the express permission of the Race Director, any/ all results for subsequent qualifier/ race session(s) that used the marked tyre(s) or insert(s) shall be deleted if a breach is found.
Organisers will replace any tyre(s) and/ or insert(s) that has been removed and found to be correct/ compliant with these regulations, but shall not be liable for any tyre(s) and/ or insert(s) that are in breach of these rules.

Qualifying
2 x 4 minute Seeding heats held on Friday to seed drivers into 4 x 5 minute Qualifying heats on Saturday.
Called start format for both Seeding and Qualifying heats, with starting positions to be seeded from previous heat result.
4 x 5 minute Qualifying rounds, best 3 of 4 count towards qualifying points. A tiebreaker will be lowest point and then fastest time.
Finals
Drivers will start each of the 3 Finals on Sunday from the same grid position, as determined by Qualifying result on Saturday afternoon.
e.g. If you qualify on P5 for the finals, you will start all 3 final rounds from P5 on the grid, irrespective of your finishing position in the previous final.

Rules
All vehicles and batteries to be as per NZRCA General Rules 2026 and Electric Powered Off-Road Rules 2026.
Please Note: 2wd & 4wd Vintage Pre-95 Buggy will be restricted to running the Kyosho G27 Motor only.
Scruitineering
Scrutineering is compulsory.
All cars must conform to NZRCA indoor off-road regulations.
Cars will be randomly checked over the duration of the event for motor conformity, weight, blinky mode (where applicable) and battery voltage.
Please ensure that you check your cars (by the entrant) before and during the event for any sharp edges or loose screws that may potentially cause injury to marshals, spectators or fellow competitors, or damage to the track or venue surfaces.
Prize Giving
Prize giving will be held immediately after track pack down has been completed.
All competitors are expected to assist with track pack down at the conclusion of racing.
All competitors are expected to attend Prize giving to applaud trophy winners and show respect and appreciation for fellow competitors.
Marshalling
Drivers MUST marshal the race following their own. Please assist us to keep the event moving along by going out to marshal PROMPTLY following your race.
The first race of each round will be marshalled by the drivers of the last race of each round.
If a driver is unable to marshal at any time, THAT DRIVER MUST notify the Race Director in person of their inability to marshal, including nomination of a competent substitute marshal.
Pits
No competitor pit equipment to be set up at Pre-event Track set up on Thursday night.
Tables may be placed and/ or reserved by name on Thursday night, but no equipment to be left at venue overnight.
Friday & Saturday nights
No equipment of value should be left inside the venue overnight.
No Lipo or other battery types to be left inside the venue overnight. Any batteries found inside the venue at night will be confiscated by the Race Director, to be returned after the conclusion of the event.
Could all local and HRCCC members please bring your own table. This will allow travelling, visitor competitors to have access to the limited number of HRCCC tables available.
Expect pitting areas to be tight due to numbers. Please be considerate of others when setting up your pit area, and do not occupy more space than necessary.
Toilet facilities are available on site.
Food
NO FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED ON THE CARPET OR MARKED TENNIS COURTS OR DRIVERS STAND AT ANY TIME.
Food and drink may be consumed on sideline areas.
NO ALCOHOL TO BE CONSUMED DURING THE MEETING, NOR TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE VENUE.
