Directions

Turn onto Pak Lims Road if coming off Old Renwick Road or turn onto Vintage Lane if coming off Rapaura Road.

Find us at the West side of Eastern States Speedway. Drive through their spectator carpark

Parking

Bulk parking, camping permitted, no power overnight.

Spectators

Spectators welcome, you must adhere to safety signs.

Please use Initial and Surname as reference so we can ensure your payment has been received.

$150 for the 1st class, $50 per additional class.

Qualifying

7 min qualifying for all classes. May look at 10 min if time allows. Final timetable to come.

Finals

12 car finals
60minutes Amain for Nitro.
10 minutes for All Electric finals.

Rules

Rules follow the NZRCA, which can be found at https://www.nzrca.co.nz/rules

We will be scrutineering. Make sure your vehicle complies.

Prize Giving

Prizegiving will be held at the end of Sundays racing.
We will be running a raffle throughout the event (more info to come).

Lap Timing

LiveTime RC software and an AMB RC4 decoder will be used (Clone transponders may not work). Competitors are to supply their own transponders and are responsible for ensuring the details are supplied correctly and that their transponder is in working condition. We will not be responsible for any issues with driver’s personal transponders.

Marshalling

Drivers must marshal the practice/race following their own.

The first race will be marshalled by the drivers of the last race.

A driver may arrange a competent substitute and notify the Race Director of such arrangements.

Pits

Shelter, tables & chairs will be supplied on a first in first served as these are limited, please let us know when registering!
Limited power will be supplied we are 100% off the grid (no 240v heat guns).
We will do our best to accommodate everyone. There is water onsite for racers to use NOT FOR DRINKING. We also have a full wash station with compressor and water. We will ask that you use this facility rather than running your own compressors to minimise any affects on the power network.
Ladies and men’s flushing toilets onsite for your convenience.

Food

Hot and cold food/drinks will be a available to purchase throughout the event (more details to come).

The official accommodation is the Marlborough Riverside Hotel. Tell them you are racing RC Cars
